One of our special proved references
The large Dortmund " Wesfalenhalle" was constructed with our special t-head tension bar system already in 1950.
The poster on the picture is still announcing Holiday on Ice.
Actual events you can find under the link www.westfalenhallen.de
See right headliner in order to register for ASDO-News. |
More than 50 years ago the machine factory Julius Schroeder in Dortmund-Brackel forged 20 meter long ASDO T-head tie rods and supplied these to the association of the world famous Dortmund steel fabricators like Klönne, Jucho, Dörnen, Union Brückenbau. The Dortmund architect Höltje created with this, for his time sensational, and today world famous arena a symbol for Westphalia.
This design enables for up to 12.000 spectators a free view to the column-free arena.
In this arena not only "6-Tage-Rennen", riding contests and world championships but also important fairs, party conferences, congresses und concerts have taken place since decades.

Tirpizmole / tie rods for sheet piling
Also the Tirpizmole in Kiel has been constructed with tie-rods from Dortmund. The sheet pilings of this cofferdam are connected with upset-forged round steel tie-rods.
|
Already in the year 1930 accessories for marine tie-rods from ANKER-SCHROEDER were used in big locks and as for e.g. also in the shiplift "Niederfinow" near Berlin. For the Rothensee lock as well as for the Hohenwarte lock we recently have also supplied sliding strips, bollards and tie-rods.
Heavy anchorages from Anker-Schroeder are holding large buildings, dock equipments, bridges, wide span buildings, pylons and heavy machinery the world over. If wind energy plants in California, a dry dock in Shanghai or the 2 Bosporus bridges in Istanbul; they all have one in common: ASDO upset forgings and anchorages.
